7.6 Saving the altitude point (POINT)
This function is used to save altitude information with the date and
time. This function is useful in practice for example to keep a record
of the altitude point at the start of a hike and upon reaching the
summit.
To save the altitude point, do the following:
1. In altimeter mode, keep the
S3 button pressed down.
2. The word RECORDING
flashes in the bottom row of
the screen.
3. Keep the S3 button
pressed down until the
word RECORDING is re-
placed by the current time.
4. The altitude point is now
saved.
