7.2 What is "AltiSpeed"?
"AltiSpeed" combines two parame-
ters- the time and the altitude
By regularly measuring the atmos-
pheric pressure and the in-
crease/decrease in the measured
pressure differences, "AltiSpeed"
calculates the altitude change per
minute. Your BARIGO E7/E7S always displays the distance covered
in the last minute. The measurement in the first minute is displayed
as 0 m. This value is refreshed after the first minute.
With the altimeter on your BARIGO E7/E7S, the distance covered
per minute appears in the upper row of the display. This reading is
very useful during a mountain hike if you want to maintain an even
tempo during the ascent or descent.
