Time Zone Description - Sets the time zone. Select the correct time zone for the camera’s
location from the drop down list.
External Clock Synchronization - Enables or disables clock synchronization and sets the
synchronization method. The BIP2 camera supports clock synchronization using IEEE 1588-2008
(Version 2) PTP specification as well as synchronization with an NTP server. If this parameter is set
to "NTP", the synchronization period has to be set using the NTP Synchronization Period parameter
(see below).
None - No external clock synchronization takes place.
NTP Server - An NTP server is used for clock synchronization.
PTP - Clock synchronization takes place according to PTP specifications.
NTP Synchronization Period - If the External Clock Synchronization parameter (see above) is
set to "NTP", NTP Synchronization Period is used to set the synchronization period.
1 minute = NTP synchronization occurs once every 1 minute.
2 minutes = NTP synchronization occurs once every 2 minutes.
4 minutes = NTP synchronization occurs once every 4 minutes.
8 minutes = NTP synchronization occurs once every 8 minutes.
15 minutes = NTP synchronization occurs once every 15 minutes.
30 minutes = NTP synchronization occurs once every 30 minutes.
1 hour = NTP synchronization occurs once every 1 hour.
2 hours = NTP synchronization occurs once every 2 hours.
4 hours = NTP synchronization occurs once every 4 hour.s
12 hours = NTP synchronization occurs once every 12 hours.
24 hours = NTP synchronization occurs once every 24 hours.
Weekly = NTP synchronization occurs once per week.
$H = display the hour as a decimal number using a 24-hour clock (i.e., from 00 to 23).
$I = display the hour as a decimal number using a 12-hour clock (i.e., from 01 to 12).
$m = display the month as a decimal number (i.e., from 01 to 12).
$M = display the minute as a decimal number.
$r = display the time in a.m. and p.m. notation.
$R = display the time in 24 hour notation.
$S = display the seconds as a decimal number.
$f = display the milliseconds as a decimal number.
$T = display the current time, same as entering $H:$M:$S.
$y = display the year without the century as a decimal number.
$Y = display the year as a decimal number.
$Z = display the time zone code if available.
