Your BAVARIA Vision 46 has been assigned the Design Categories A and B, depending on maximum crew and load-
ing.
AboatgivendesigncategoryAisconsideredtobedesignedforextendedvoyageswhereconditionsmayexceedwind
force8(Beaufortscale)andsignicantwaveheightsof4mandabovebutexcludingabnormalconditions,andvessels
largelyself-sufcient.
AboatgivendesigncategoryBisconsideredtobedesignedtooperateinwindsuptoforce8(Beaufortscale)andthe
associatedwaveheights(signicantwaveheightsuptoandincluding4m).
Suchconditionsmaybeencounteredonoffshorevoyagesofsufcientlengthoroncoastalwaterswhenunsheltered
from the wind and waves for several dozens of nautical miles. These conditions may also be experienced on inland seas
ofsufcientsizeforthewaveheighttobegenerated.

quartersbasedinHamburg,wasmandatedwiththeissuanceofthenecessarycerticatesandtoperformthenecessary
compliance procedures.

Themanufacturerscraftidenticationnumber(CIN)
hasbeenafxedtothestarboardsternoftheboat.The
CIN is a unique code consisting of numbers and letters.
