7.7. Preventing collisions at sea
Theinternationalregulationsforpreventingcollisionsatsea(COLREG‘s)andtherulesoftheroadre-
quire that a proper lookout be maintained at all times and observance of right of way. Make sure no
other vessels or other obstacles are in the path before proceeding.
