6.8. Fuel system
The craft is equipped with a permanently installed diesel fuel system. The following components are supplied by the
fuel system:

Keyfuelsystemcontrolsandttingsarelocatedasfollows:

Start button OntheenginecontrolpanelonStbside,ignitionswitched„ON“opens
the fuel supply via the solenoid valve
Stop button Stops the engine and closes the fuel supply via the solenoid valve

» Neversmokewhenllingupfuel-noopenameintheengineroom!
» Inspect fuel lines at least annually. Replace those if deterioration or openings are found.
» Ifleakageisdetected,closethefuelshut-offvalve,andhavethesystemrepairedbefore
further use.
» System repairs should be made by a competent person.

» Neveruseaametocheckforleaks-pleaseuseaexplosion-prooflamp!
Caution
» Fuel-burningopen-ameappliancesconsumecabinoxygenandreleaseproductsofcombus-
tionintothecraft.Ventilationisrequiredwhenappliancesareinuse.
» Afailurefreeoperationofenginesisonlypossiblewithunpollutedfuel.Pleasecheckthewater
separatorandltersregularlyandcleanthose,ifappropriate.
» Onceayearthetankshouldthereforebeemptiedandcleaned.
