Declaration of Conformity
In the context of the EC machine directive 98/37/EC, appendix IIA
Manufacturer: B.B.A. Pompen BV, Zutphensestraat 242, 7325 WV Apeldoorn
Product: Pump B-EX series.
We hereby declare that all the abovementioned pumps are in compliance with the provisions of:
- the Machine Directive (directive 98/37/EC, as last amended)
- the Low Voltage Directive (directive 73/23/EEC, as last amended) – in the case of an electric
motor
- the EMC directive (directive 89/336, as last amended) – in the case of a electric motor
- the ATEX 95 directive (directive 94/9/EC, as last amended).
The pumps comply with the following harmonised standards:
- NEN-EN 809:1998 and “Pumps and pump units for liquids - General safety requirements”.
- NEN-EN 13463-1:2001 “Non-electric material for places where a risk of explosion can exist -
Part 1: Basic methodology and requirements”
- NEN-EN 13463-5:2003 “Non-electric material for use in places where a risk of explosion can
exist - Part 5: Protection by constructive safety ‘c’ “
NOTE: This declaration is only applicable if the pump (unit) is installed according to the
instructions and the associated technical specifications.
