VAV Module NMV-D2M
N-S1.3 Position [16-character text field]
Input field for a specific plant designation string:
e.g. field address, plant designation, diagram position.
N-S2 NMV-D2M information
N-S2.1 OEM
OEM-specific information string:
e.g. firm’s name, air box type, installation, order
N-S2.2 Operating time
Number of hours that the NMV-D2M has been powered up.
N-S2.3 Active time
Number of hours that the NMV-D2M has been powered up and perform-
ing mechanical movements.
N-S2.4 Stop&Go ratio
Ratio of active time to operating time
(calculation = active time h / operating time h x 100)
If the Stop&Go ratio is relatively high an unstable reference signal is a
possible cause.
N-S2.5 Calibration value
A setting for a specific air box that the manufacturer of the unit has ascer-
tained during his calibration run on the test rig. The calibration value is an
internal controller variable that represents the differential pressure at
V’nom.
N-S2.6 Alarms
This field displays the alarm signals generated by the NMV-D2M:
 Stop&Go ratio too high
 Excessive travel (10%)
 Mechanical overload
The alarms can be cancelled by clicking on a particular alarm and press-
ing the ‘Delete’ key.
Calibration value
The nominal value of volumetric flow and the
corresponding calibration value are deter-
mined and set solely by the manu
facturer of
the air box (OEM). The manu
facturer bears
responsibi
lity for the proper functioning of his
VAV boxes.
