Go-Around Pushbutton
Normally located on the engine
power lever, the Go-Around Pushbut-
ton, when pressed momentarily,
causes the flight director
to
command
a
nose-up, wings level attitude. In
addition, selecting the Go-Around
mode disengages the autopilot and
cancels any other flight director mode.
The autopilot and any lateral flight
director mode can
be
subsequently
reengaged without cancelling the Go-
Around mode. Selecting any vertical
mode, or pressing the CWS Pushbut-
ton, cancels the Go-Around mode.

Display Features
All display brightness is adjusted
automatically for ambient light
conditions by a photocell located on
the face of the unit.

HDG, HB, MACH, CLB,
DES,
APR, APR ARM, IAS, ALT, ALT
ARM, NAV, NAV ARM, VS, VNAV,
VNAV ARM operate identically to the
same annunciations provided by the
KMS
446
and KMC
440.
2.
AP illuminates when autopilot is
engaged and flashes for five seconds
upon autopilot disengagement.
3.
CWS (control wheel steering)

Illuminates when the CWS button on
the aircraft control yoke is pushed.
4.
YD
illuminates when the yaw
damper is engaged and flashes for
five seconds upon yaw damper
disengagement.
