At a safe altitude the autopilot is
engaged and the autopilot is respond-
ing to the command bars.
If
climb
mode (or another vertical mode and
altitude select) is selected, altitude
capture is also armed. Altitude alerting
will be provided as you approach the
selected altitude.

Desired altitude is being captured.
At the selected altitude, altitude hold
will automatically engage
to
bring the
aircraft to level flight. The
270°
heading has been acquired.
