At Decision Height a missed ap-
proach is initiated by presSiq the
Go-
Around button on the power lever as
power is increased. This disengages
the autopilot and the flight director
commands the specified nose up and
wings level attitude. At the discretion
of the crew, the autopilot may be
reengaged to complete the missed
approach.
4.
The heading bug has been previ-
ously set to the missed approach
heading
of 90".
Activating the heading
mode will cause the flight director to
command a turn to that heading. Pitch
attitude may be adjusted from the
Go
Around angle by using
CWS
or verti-
cal trim controls or by selecting a new
vertical mode, any of which terminates
Go
Around mode.
