The ABS diagnosis lamp does not light up
when the instrument panel is switched
on.
The ABS diagnostic warning light will re-
main on even when the vehicle exceeds
the speed of about 5 km / h.
During this circumstance bring the mo-
torcycle to an authorized Benelli service
center.
It is important to remember that the ABS
system is not active when the warning
light is on, but the braking system will
continue to operate as a normal system
without ABS.
During this situation, a sudden braking
can cause the wheels to lock and the con-
sequent loss of grip and stability of the
motorcycle.
18. Photosensitive switch
There are two modes in this tool. It can
change automatically depending on the
light intensity, or follow the steps below
to manually switch.
• Cover the switch with your hand for 3-5
seconds to switch from day mode to night
mode.
• Use a ashlight to illuminate this switch
for 3-5 seconds to switch from night mode
to day mode.
17. ABS warning light
1. ABS system error: if any type of error is
detected and stored, the ABS diagnostic
lamp will be on and remain on.
The ABS diagnostic warning light will swi-
tch o when the instrument panel is swi-
tched o / on or when the vehicle exceeds
the speed of about 5 km / h.
2. ABS mode deactivated: the ABS diagno-
stic indicator will ash once for about 1.30
seconds (short ash).
3. While pressing the ABS button for
between 3 and 30 seconds, the ABS dia-
gnostic indicator will ash once for about
0.30 seconds (rapid ashing).
4. Activated ABS system: When the control
panel is switched on, the ABS diagnostic
warning light will remain on until the mo-
torcycle reaches a speed of about 5 km /
h. Once this speed is exceeded, the ABS
diagnostic indicator will go out.
Normally the ABS diagnostic warning li-
ght stays on when the instrument panel
is switched on and goes o when the mo-
torcycle exceeds the speed of about 5 km
/ h.
If the ABS diagnostic indicator shows one
of the following symptoms, one or more
faults may have occurred to the ABS sy-
stem.
