Transporting the projector
It is recommended that you ship the projector with its original packing or equivalent.
Outdoor use
Anytime the projector is used outdoors, remember to follow the care instructions in this chapter and the cleaning instructions described in Important
safety instructions on page 9.
Extending LED life
The LED headlight includes a bulb which features a light-source life far beyond traditional bulbs, yet it is still a consumable item. To keep the LED life as
long as possible, you can change the following settings via the settings menu.
To access the settings menu, see Using the Settings menu on page 60 for details.
Setting LED Mode
Set the projector Power Mode to Eco or Low power consumption to extend the LED life.
1. Press the PROJECTOR MENU button on the remote control.
2. Select Power Mode.
3. Press ( / ) to move to your desired mode.
LED replacement is not user-serviceable. When it is needed, please contact the service center.
LED mode Description
Normal 100% LED brightness. This mode is available only when the power is supplied from the power adapter.
Eco
This setting reduces power consumption by 10%. If Eco is selected, the light output will be reduced and result
in darker projected pictures.
Low power consumption Lowers brightness to around 50% to extend the LED life, and reduces noise by around 10%.
