2.4 Correct positioning
Place the appliance on the ground on its four feet, to en-
sure maximum efficiency during operation.
You must also make sure that:
there is a gap of at least 50 cm between the upper
part of the appliance and the ceiling, to guarantee
constant air exchange with the refrigerating unit
the air duct of the condenser unit must never be ob-
structed by foreign objects and/or by the wall behind
the appliance. Therefore, the refrigerated cabinet
should be positioned at a distance of at least 5 cm
from the wall behind
2.5 Levelling
This procedure is necessary to guarantee the correct
operation of the water drain for defrosting and washing
(where present) and to avoid possible annoying vibra-
tions of the motor.
Carry out the following in the order given:
Use a spirit level to check the longitudinal and trans-
versal levelling of the appliance; if necessary, act on
the feet to adjust the level;
Check the correct positioning of the condenser tray
and its relative drainage pipe (where present).

2.6 Fixing with brackets (where envisaged)
To prevent the risk of the appliance tipping over when
opening the door, it should be fixed to the wall behind
using the two brackets supplied.
The brackets also ensure that the refrigerated cabinet is
positioned at a minimum distance of 5 cm from the wall
behind.
In the following order:
fix the two brackets to the upper ends of the appli-
ance using the self-tapping screws supplied;
secure the two brackets to the wall using the correct
size screws (not provided).

For safety reasons, it is essential to use the right size screws and SUITABLE plugs for the type of surface to
which they will be fixed (e.g. wood screws for wood panel walls, screws with plugs for reinforced cement
walls, screws with plugs for plasterboard walls, etc.).
