5 . . Maintenance
5.1 Replacing or cleaning the filter
The filter must be cleaned regularly. A dirty filter may cause
inadequate heating as well as a high noise level. The interval at
which the filter is to be cleaned depends on the local condi-
tions.
You may clean the filter with, for instance
, a vacuum cleaner.
After some cleanings, however, the filter must be replaced.
New filters can be ordered from Biddle.
5.1.1 Removing the filter
Free-hanging models
1. Remove the inlet grille from the unit:
- Lift the grille at the bottom and unhook it.
2. Remove the grille from the inlet grille:
- Insert your fingers into the holes at 1,
- Pull in the direction shown.
3. Clean or replace the filter.
