4. Release the deck drive belt tension by pulling on the
deck drive belt at the locations shown in Figure 6-17
and pulling it off of the left spindle pulley.
5. Remove the deck drive belt from the deck spindle pul-
leys and idler pulleys. Figure 6-18
6. Remove the deck drive belt from the electric clutch
pulley located on the hydraulic pump jack shaft.

7. Route the new deck drive belt around the clutch pulley,
right and center spindle pulleys and idler pulleys.
Make certain the belt is routed properly. Figure 6-18 &
Figure 6-19
8. Grasp the belt at the two locations shown in
Figure 6-17 and pull the belt over the left spindle pul-
ley.
9. Release the belt.
10. Re-install the deck covers. Figure 6-16
11. Re-attach the negative battery cable.

Keep hands clear when pulling belt over the pulley
to prevent pinching. Do not get hand or fingers
between pulley and belt.
