Solution: Please use the serial number printed on the bicycle. If you cannot
scan the QR code, you may manually activate your bike via app by typing in
your serial number. See Section 9.C.
3. Your smartphone does not have internet access.
Solution: Your smartphone must have internet access to operate the app.
4. Your bike’s battery is o.
Solution: Please turn on the battery by pressing the button underneath
the frame.
5. You have not updated the Gi Fly mobile app.
Solution: Update the latest version of the Gi Fly mobile app via the
App Store/Google Play.
vi. Unable to share routes.
1. The route was not not saved.
Solution: Routes must be saved before they can be shared.
2. You are trying to share your bike with someone who is not on your “Gi Fly
friend’s list.”
Solution: Add Gi Fly friends via the Gi Fly mobile app. Open the app >
Social > > Add > Search for the username/name of your friend.
3. Your smartphone is not connected to the internet.
Solution: Your smartphone must be connected to the internet in order to
operate the app.
4. You have not updated the Gi Fly mobile app.
Solution: Update the latest version of the Gi Fly mobile app via the
App Store/Google Play.
vii. Unable to share stats.
1. User is trying to share through the app.
Solution: Stats can only be shared through the website. Head to
www.giybike.com, then click the “Sign In” button on the page.
2. You have not connected Facebook to the Gi Fly mobile app.
Solution: Please download and open the Facebook app and connect it to
your Gi Fly before attempting to share your stats.
3. Your Facebook prole is not permitted to interact with the Gi Fly mobile app.
Solution: Please congure the settings of your Facebook app to be able to
share your stats via the Gi Fly mobile app.
4. Your track has not stopped.
Solution: Tracks are only saved once the rider disconnects from their bike.
Disconnect from your bike and nalize your track so that you can share
your route.
5. Your smartphone is not connected to the internet.
Solution: Your smartphone must have internet to operate the Gi Fly
mobile app.
