2.5. Operating Environment / Requirements
The BigRep STUDIO can’t be used at heights above 2000 meters above sea level.
Make sure the ground is leveled and
has suicient load-bearing capacity.
Make sure there is enough free space
between the machine and the ceil-
ing (at least 1 m to the device).
Make sure that there is a free zone of
at least 1m to all sides o to the de-
vice (Fig. 2-2).
Take particular care to ensure that there is enough free space behind the control
cabinet (T) at the back of the printer. (See Fig. 3-1 following page)
Once printing has started, the device may not be made accessible to any unautho-
rized persons!
& Chap 2.3 Operator Obligations
For a satisfactory printing process, make sure to:
Avoid high humidity
Keep the temperature in the operating environment between +15° and +35° C
Avoid strong dras during the printing process
Avoid direct exposure of the device to sunlight
Not operate the device on surfaces particularly sensitive to vibrations
Avoid serious indoor air pollution with dust (e.g. sanding dust)
Avoid inadequately adjusted lighting levels

Heating food
Printing food
Illumination of rooms
