3.3. Graphical User Interface
The BigRep User Interface (graphical user interface, GUI – referred to as inter-
face or BigRep UI in this document) designates the interface for controlling the
BigRep STUDIO and provides the user with important information from the printer.
The interface is operated via the device’s touchscreen (E).

Note: This manual has been created for the BigRep UI version 0.7.4. Please refer to
the additional UI manual to check the specific content in case of updates.
3.4. Slicing Soware
The slicing soware enables you to generate a digital 3D model of the object you
would like to print. The slicing soware transforms this model into data for the
printer, i.e. provides a code for the printer. For the slicing soware, the General
Terms and Conditions of the respective manufacturer apply.
We recommend using the slicing program Simplify3D [www.simplify3d.com].
Please use the factory files authorized by BigRep. They contain all relevant de-
fault settings. You can also obtain the factory files via the support center
[support.bigrep.com]

Please contact customer service [support.bigrep.com] if you have questions re-
garding the suitability of individual slicing soware.
The manufacturer will not assume any liability for damages caused by incor-
rect configuration of the slicing soware. Only use factory files authorized by
BigRep.
