7.3. Operating the BigRep STUDIO
Safety
Wherever possible, the protective covers – door (O) and service hatch (J) – must
be in place before manual movement of the axes.
By using the wrong G-code, it is possible that the hot nozzle moves into the print
and causes a fire hazard. Printing must not be performed without supervision!
Do not use G-code from unknown sources without prior checking of the code with
e.g. a visualization.
Before Printing
Preparation
Ensure trouble free operation.

Clean nozzles if necessary.
Clean the print bed surface
Chap. 9 Maintenance
Apply glue if necessary.
Turning the Machine On
Check if the emergency stop button (B) is unlocked.
Chap. 2.4 Emergency Stop
Make sure that the extruder is connected to the electrical connectors.
Turn on the main switch (S).
Press the reset button (C).
Wait for the User Interface to open.
Log in if necessary. Check the Remember Me box to remain logged in
Connect if necessary. Click on Connect button, in drop down menu on the
top right corner of the screen and confirm.
Make sure that the printer is free of parts and not accessible to
unauthorized persons before starting the printing process.
Danger of pulling in fingers or loose clothing when manually moving the axes.
Do not reach into the build chamber while the machine is running!
