Regularly clean the X-guide rail (I), Y-guide rail (K), Z-guide sha s (M) and Z-lead
spindles (N).
Regularly lubricate the X-guide rail (I) and the Y-guide rail (K) with HIWIN G05
grease. To prevent corrosion of the Z-lead spindles, spray them regularly with sili-
cone spray. Only use approved industrial lubricants.
We recommend mineral oil-based lubricants for rolling or plain bearings. Ensure
that they are always covered by a thin lubricating film.
9.3. Tightening the Belts
Please contact customer service [support.bigrep.com] if the belt tension decreas-
es and the machine does not function properly.
9.4. Replacing the Protective Print Bed Tape
Damages to the protective foil on the print bed can a ect the printing result in
the bottom layer. You can order new protective foil as well as instructions for the
replacement in the customer portal. [support.bigrep.com]
9.5. Maintenance Plan
Regular maintenance following the steps described below and executed by
trained personnel constitutes a prerequisite for any claims regarding a warranty
possibly agreed to or regarding services covered by the protection plans.
Regular Maintenance
Daily / Before Every Use
Clean print bed.
Chap. 9.1. Cleaning
Monthly
Check emergency stop button.
Every six months
Lubricate Z-lead spindles. Use silicon spray.
Chap. 9.2. Lubrication
Do not use grease containing solid components such as graphite or molyb-
denum disulfide (MoS2) for lubrication!
The machine must never be used without the print bed tape covering the
print bed. Risk of burns! In case of burns consult a doctor immediately!
