1.5 Downtube battery pack
• Removing the battery pack
Insertthekeyinthelock,twistthekeyclockwiseuntilthelockspringsout(1,2).Whenthelock
springsout,theleverofthebatterypackwillbereleased.Nowtakethekeyfromthelockandpull
theleverofthebatterypacksothatitslidesupwards-paralleltothedowntube-untilitreleases
fromtherail(3).Whenthebatterypackisnotonthebike,alwaysusetheprotectivecoveronthe
contactsontheframetoprotecttheelectricalsystemfromwater(5).
• Placing the battery pack
Positionthebatteryoverthedowntube(withsomespacebetweentheseattubeandthelowerend
ofthebatterypack,1).Now,slidethebatterypackdownontotherail(2).Usethelevertolower
thebatterypackcarefullyduringthelastphaseofsliding,sothattheconnectorsengage(3).
Be sure that the connector at the bottom of the battery pack and the connector on the docking
engageproperly.Whenthebatterypackisfullyinplace,pushthelockinuntilitclicks(4).
Do not ride the bike with the lock open.
