Adjusting the volume
When you have finished making your
changes,
..- press the MENU button@.
To exit the menu,
..- press the ESC button @.
Notes:
• If the volume listened to is higher than
the set 'TEL VOl" value, telephone
calls or navigation announcements
are played back at the volume lis-
tened to.
• Using the volume control 0, you can
adjust the volume for telephone calls
and navigation announcements di-
rectly during the playback.

Adjusting the tuner
To ensure proper functioning of the tuner,
the device must be set for the region in
which it is being operated. You can select
between Europe (EUROPE), America (USA)
and Thailand (THAI). The tuner is factory-
set to the region in which it was sold. If you
experience problems with your radio recep-
tion, please check this setting.
The radio functions described in these op-
erating instructions refer to the tuner set-
ting USA.
..- Switch off the device by pressing but-

..- Hold the buttons 1 ® and DIS @
pressed at the same time and switch on
the device again with the button 8).
The current setting is displayed .
..- Select your tuner region with the ~ or
A button 0.
To save the setting and to exit the menu,
..- press the MENU button @.
Switching to radio mode
If you are in SO, USB, CD changer or AUX-IN
mode,
..- press the BND- 1S button 0
or
..- press the SRC button ® repeatedly
until"TUNER" appears on the display.
