Use the menu button < to select
the Special character fi eld D and
press the OK button =.
The bottom line of the character
list C displays additional special
characters.
From the bottom line of the char-
acter list C, select the desired
special character and press the
OK button =.
Use the menu button < to select
the Special character fi eld D again
and press the OK button =.
The bottom line of the character
list C displays the original spe-
cial characters again.
Deleting characters from the text
input
To delete an incorrectly entered
character:
Use the menu button < to select
the Delete fi eld D and press the
OK button =.
The character entered last is de-
leted. Automatic completions of
the name are deleted.

Note:
If you press the ESC button A
for an extended period of time,
all characters are deleted.
Activate error-tolerant destination
entry
If you are not completely certain
about the spelling of a city,
select the "...?" symbol in the
character fi eld and press on the
OK button =.
Enter the city with the spelling
you know.
Select the OK symbol and press
the OK button =.
Or press the OK button = for a
few seconds.
A list with city names matching
your entry appears.
Select the desired entry and
press the OK button =.
Entering an address
To enter an address:
Mark and confi rm the "Destination"
menu in the navigation display.
The "Destination" menu appears.
