The route list appears. The route
segments that remain to be driven
are displayed. If a route segment
features traffi c obstructions, this
section is identifi ed by a warn-
ing triangle. In addition, voice
output concerning the route are
repeated.
You can scroll through the route list
using the menu button <. You can
display abbreviated sections of the
route list in their entirety by press-
ing the
button B.
Changing a route (Traffi c
ahead)
The route is automatically adjusted
to the current traffi c situation pro-
vided that you activated "Dynamic"
in the "Route options" menu
(see p. 70).
If you want to manually change a
part of the route, e.g. because a
section is blocked, proceed as fol-
lows:

You can change the route only
if you entered a destination and
the route was calculated. You
can block only one section of the
route, not several.
Mark and confi rm the "Options"
menu in the navigation display.
The Options menu of the naviga-
tion system appears.

In the "Options" menu, mark and
confi rm the "Traffi c ahead" menu
item.
The distance display appears.
Use the menu button < to set
the length of the blocked dis-
tance, starting with the vehicle
position.
Press the OK button =.
The route is recalculated so that
you evade the blocked section.
The navigation system saves this
blocked section until it is switched
off for longer than 30 minutes.
Before you can block a new route
section, you may have to release the
blocked section again as follows:
In the "Options" menu, mark and
confi rm the "Traffi c ahead" menu
item again.
The confi rmation dialogue "Cancel
traffi c ahead?" is displayed.
Mark and confi rm "Yes" to re-
lease the blocked section of the
route.
