The antenna installation and con-
nection is described in the antenna
installation instructions.
Insert the antenna connector
into the antenna socket 1 of the
device.
Connecting the GPS antenna
Install the GPS antenna in the ve-
hicle as described in the GPS an-
tenna installation instructions.
Insert the SMB connector 2 into
the corresponding socket of the
device.
Connecting the reversing light signal
Route the cable from the revers-
ing light to pin 3 3 of the connec-
tor in chamber A 5 so that +12 V

is applied to the connection if the
vehicle is in reverse gear.
If the connection to the reversing
light is not possible, connect pin
3 to ground.
Note:
If you do not connect the revers-
ing light signal, the device does
not detect a reverse travel. If the
GPS signal is missing, it may im-
pact the accuracy of the naviga-
tion.
Connecting the speedometer
signal
You can navigate with or without
speedometer signal.
CAUTION!
Risk of damage!
Incorrect connections can damage
the device or the vehicle electron-
ics.
This connection should only be
performed by an authorised spe-
cialist workshop of the vehicle
manufacturer!
Connect the vehicle-specific
speedometer signal connection
to pin 1 4 of the connector in
chamber A 5.
