Touch > > Settings > Sound > Silent mode. Select Vibrate or Mute to
enable vibration mode or silent mode. Touch Off to turn sound on.
Press and hold the Power Button and then touch to enable the silent mode, touch
to enable the vibration mode, or touch to disable the silent mode.
Press the Volume Buttons down when no media application is active. When the
icon appears in the status bar, the phone is set to the vibration mode. When the icon
appears in the status bar, the phone is in the silent mode.
Ringtones and Notifications
You can select and assign default ringtones for your incoming calls and notifications; meanwhile,
you can set the phone to vibrate or not.
Phone Ringtone
If you want to assign a special ringtone for an individual contact, see Assign a Ringtone to a
Contact.
1. Touch > > Settings > Sound > Phone ringtone.
2. Scroll through the ringtone list and select the ringtone you want to use.
3. Touch OK to save.
Default Notification
Use the menu to assign specific ringtones for notifications.
1. Touch > > Settings > Sound > Default notification.
2. Scroll through the ringtone list and select one as the default notification ringtone.
3. Touch OK to save.
Vibrate and Ring
You can let the phone vibrate the same time it rings.
Touch > > Settings > Sound and tick the Vibrate and ring check box.
SRS Sound Enhancement
Use the options in the SOUND ENHANCEMENT section in sound settings to enhance the
sound quality for playing media.
