3. Product description
3.1 Intended use
The BEA 070 (opacimeter) measures emissions in diesel
vehicles.
The BEA 070 can be used as a stand-alone unit or with
the BEA 550.
3.2 Required equipment
The BEA 070 can only be used via a PC/laptop and with
the BEA-AU-OBD system software.
3.2.1 Hardware
R PC/laptop with DVD/CD drive and Windows XP or
WIN 7 operating system
R CPU X86 (Celeron M): at least 1 GHz,
recommended dual-core 1.66 GHz
R Available space on hard disk: at least 1GB
R RAM: at least 1 GB
R Two vacant USB ports for the Bluetooth USB adapter
and for a USB cable
3.2.2 Software
Software installed on PC/laptop.
