3.7 Bluetooth
3.7.1 Bluetooth USB adapter
Only the Bluetooth USB adapter included in the scope of
delivery enables a wireless connection to the BEA 070. It
is plugged into the PC/laptop. Readiness for operation is
indicated by the flashing blue LED.
! It is not possible to operate any other item of Blue-
tooth hardware fitted or plugged into the PC/laptop,
as this would interfere with data communication
between the BEA 070 and the PC/laptop.
! Do not subject the Bluetooth USB adapter connected
to the laptop to mechanical strain or use it as a
handle, as this could damage the laptop or Bluetooth
USB adapter.
i The USB connection has precedence in the case of
simultaneous USB and Bluetooth connection.
3.7.2 Notes on Bluetooth Manager symbol

3.7.3 Information on errors

of Bluetooth transmission problems during exhaust gas
measurement.

Bluetooth connection is not OK on
testing (see Section 3.6.4).
4. Unplug the Bluetooth USB adapter and
plug in again or reboot the PC/laptop.
