10.4.5 Assembly instructions: Finding a chain lock with an operable chain
CAUTION!
Observe DIN EN ISO 13857 when you remove or replace safety guards and/or
bypass protective equipment.
Test runs with open paneling should only be performed by a person with
appropriate knowledge and experience using tip switches, and if there is no
possibility of interference from other switching devices.
On the side without motor, either remove the outer protective case half
(BS 2/C-100, ...-250, BS 2/R-300, ...-700, BS 4/R-300, ...-700) or remove the side
cover plate (BS 2/C-H, BS 2/R-H, BS 2/R-V+ 1200).
5. Start the belt section with the jog switch until the chain lock appears on the
chain tensioner.
