6.5.3 Terminal blocks for voltage supply and inputs/outputs
Pluggable terminal blocks (RTB = Removable Terminal Blocks) are used at the interfaces
XG31 and XG32 (ctrlX SAFETY device SAFEX-C.12) and XG31, XG32, XG33 and XG34
(CtrlX SAFETY device SAFEX-C.15).
The terminal blocks are inserted into a semicircular receptacle in the lower area, pivoted
around this support point and locked in place with the upper end. They are released by
pressing down the protruding locking lever at the upper end of the terminal block and
swiveling out the terminal block.
The terminal blocks are encoded via a mechanically unambiguously assignable pin on the
terminal block and a corresponding notch on the printed circuit board in the device. In
addition, each terminal block is identified by a number on the side.
