3.3.3.1 Control via VW-XML master PC
The VW-XML master PC controls the Nexo cordless Wi-Fi nutrunners and receives the tightening results.
For this purpose, a VW-XML master software has to be available at the IPC. The data may be transmitted
via WLAN to a VW-XML master PC or via one or several external access points (see figure 3–9).
Settings in the NEXO-OS operating system:
• To configure the WLAN connection, go to Settings WLAN (page 230).
• To set the communication with VW-XML, go to Settings Data VW-XML (page 221).
• The PLC assignment table has to be applied as specified in chapter VW-XML protocol. To set the
PLC assignment table, go to Settings PLC signals (page 226).
• The tag <PI1> defined in the VW-XML protocol can be applied as ID code in Nexo. For this purpose,
the Selection of ID code source can be set to VW-XML under mode in the start step (see
page 185).
