COMMISSIONING
THE COMBUSTION FOR THE APPLIANCE
IS FACTORY
SET.
NO ADJUSTMENT IS REQUIRED IF THE
GAS
INLET PRESSURE IS CORRECT.
CHECKING
GAS
INLET
PRESSURE:
The inlet pressure
to
the appliance must
be
checked
using the following procedure:
SETTING
THE
BOILER
TO
MAXIMUM:
~
Press
boost
button (L) for ten
seconds
and set temperature to maximum.
• The
boost
button will illuminate continually.
MEASURING
THE
INLET
PRESSURE:

~
Slacken the
screw
in
the inlet pressure
test point and
connect
a manometer.
~
Measure the pressure with the boiler
running at maximum.
~
Check
the gas
supply
working pressure at
the
gas
valve inlet point:
N.G. minimum 18 mbar
L.P.G.

mbar
~
The gas rate should
be
measured at the
gas meter after
10 minutes operation at
maximum.
See
technical
data
section at the
front
of
this manual.
~Ensure
inlet pressure is satisfactory with
all
other
gas
appliances working.
~Replace
controls
cover. NOTE: This boiler
is
designed
with a differential
of
2o•c
across the heating system.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not
continue
commissioning until
the
correct
gas
inlet pressure is achieved.
~
If pressure is satisfactory press the
boost
button (L) again and the boiler will return to
normal operation.
• If left
in
the central heating
boost
mode
the
control will return to normal operation after
15 minutes.
~
Re-seal the
screw
in
the gas inlet pressure
test point.
