Determining what to connect
There are several ways to make an audio connection to
the CineMate
®
II system.
How you proceed depends on the number of audio/
video source devices you use.
If you use just one device:
Follow the instructions for “Connecting a single source
device” on page 13.
In this case, you can connect the audio from your
source, like a cable or satellite box, directly to the
interface module. Only the video goes to your TV.
If you use more than one device:
Follow the instructions for “Connecting your TV audio”
on page 15:
In this case, you route both audio and video to the TV
from sources like a cable or satellite box and a Blu-ray
Disc™ player.
The TV then passes this audio through its Audio Out
connection to the interface module.
