Why is there no sound or low volume from my Boss Recording Equipment?
    • P
      Patrick ClarkJul 27, 2025
There are several reasons why you might be experiencing low or no sound with your Boss Recording Equipment. First, ensure all equipment is connected correctly. Check the volume or input gain settings on any connected mixers or recorders to make sure they aren't set too low. If you are using a condenser microphone, verify that the 'Phantom Power' parameter is turned on. Also, check that the 'MicSens' setting is appropriately adjusted.

If your Boss Recording Equipment isn't powering on, the first thing to check is the batteries. If they are depleted, replace them with new ones. If you can't overdub using the Phrase Loop on your Boss Recording Equipment, it might be because the 'Loop Type' parameter is set to 'Check.' Overdubbing is disabled in this mode. To enable overdubbing, change the 'Loop Type' parameter to 'Perform'.
