GENERAL OPERATION
ThefollowinginformationshouldhelpyouunderstandhowyourSP6000Multi‐Fuelstovefunctions.Besuretoreadthese
instructionscarefullysothatyouunderstandtheproperoperationofyourstove.Ifyouneedassistanceordonotunderstandthese
directionsyourdealershouldbeabletoassistyou.You can
alsolookatourwebsiteforsomeadditionalinformationandcontact
informationfortechnicalsupport.
OnceyourpresstheON/OFFbuttononyourstove,thecombustionfanwillstartimmediatelyandtheunitwillgointoapre‐
programmedstart‐upcycle.
START‐UPCYCLE
Whentheunitisfirst
started,orwhenrestartingafterthepowerhasbeeninterrupted,itwillinitiallybeinapre‐programmedstart‐
upcycle.Thisstart‐upcyclewilllastsevenminutes.Duringthisperiodthestovewillnotfunctionontheheatlevelsettingyouhave
selected.Instead,theunitwillfunction
atlowheatlevelsetting(#1)untilthestart‐upcycleiscompleted.
Oncethestovehasreachedtheminimumoperatingtemperature,theconvectionblowerwillcomeonandbegintoblowairintothe
room.Ashorttimelater,theunitwillcompletethestart‐upcycleandtheunit
willadvancetotheheatlevelsettingyouhavethe
stovesetto.
CHANGINGHEATLEVELS
Whenadjustingtheheatlevelsetting,keepinmindthatyouwillexperienceanapproximate3minutedelaybetweensuccessive
heatlevelincreases.Thisdelayisthereinordertoallowthefireto
stabilizebetweeneachheatlevelsetting.Thisdelayaffectsnot
onlytheaugerfeedrate,butalsotheblowerspeeds.
WhentheHeatLevelsettingisincreasedordecreased,thefuelfeedrate,convectionfanspeedandcombustionfanspeedareall
affectedafterthe3minutebuilt‐indelay.

DAMPERCONTROL
Thedamperislocatedjustbeneaththemaindoor.Youwillinitiallyadjustyour
damperforthebestperformanceofyourstovedependingonyouroperating
heatlevel,altitude,exhaustconfiguration,andtypeandqualityoffuel.After
that,youshouldnotneedtoadjustthedamper
onaregularbasisunlessyou
changetheheatlevel.
Thecombustionblowerwillchangespeedswhenyouchangeyourheatlevel
setting.Thissubstantiallyreducestheneedfordamperadjustmentssokeepin
mindthatminoradjustmentstothedampercanhaveabigeffect.
Whenchangingfuelbrands
ortype,closelyobservetheoperationofthestove
andmakeadjustmentstothedamperasneeded.Alsomonitorthestoveuntil
youbecomefamiliarwithhowitoperates
Besuretousethemaintenancetoolprovidedorapairofinsulatedfireplace
glovesifandwhenyoudoadjust
thedamper.
