      If the Brother print server is not found during network print software installation, first ensure you've configured the IP address settings as described in Chapter 2 of the User’s Guide. Also, verify that the machine is powered on, online, and ready to print. Check if the LCD displays 'LAN Active' when connected to the network. Print the Network Configuration List to confirm the IP address settings are correct. You can also try pinging the print server from the command prompt using the command: ping ipaddress. As a last resort, reset the print server to its default factory settings and try the setup again. The issue might also be caused by a Firewall blocking the network connection, so disable the Firewall and reinstall the drivers.

      If a print job isn't printing on your Brother print server, make sure the machine is powered on, online, and ready to print. Verify that the IP address is correctly loaded into the print server. Try pinging the print server from the host operating system command prompt with the command: ping ipaddress. If problems persist, reset the print server back to the default factory settings and try again.

      If the Brother print server is not found during setup by the Wireless Device Setup Wizard, make sure that the machine is powered on, is on-line and ready to print. You may also want to move your computer closer to the Brother machine and try again. If the problem persists, reset the print server back to its default factory settings and try again.
