  If your Brother All in One Printer is producing white or black spots on black text and graphics at 94mm intervals, dust, paper powder, glue, or other substances may be stuck to the surface of the photosensitive drum. Make a few copies of a blank, white sheet of paper. If you still see the spots on printed documents after making multiple copies, clean the drum unit. If the print quality still has not improved you need to install a new drum.

  If your Brother All in One Printer doesn't load paper and the LCD shows ‘No Paper’ or a ‘Paper Jam’ message, first, ensure that there is paper in the tray. If the tray is empty, load a new stack of paper. If paper is already loaded, check that it is aligned straight and is not curled. Try removing the paper, turning the stack over, and placing it back in the tray. Also, reduce the amount of paper in the tray. Finally, ensure that the MP tray mode is not selected in the printer driver.

  If your Brother All in One Printer is producing hollow prints, make sure that you use paper that meets the printer's specifications. Choose Thick paper mode in the printer driver or in the machine’s Paper Type menu setting, or use thinner paper. Check the machine’s environment, as conditions such as high humidity can cause hollow print. Clean the primary corona wire on the drum unit. If the print quality has not improved, put in a new drum unit.
