5. While lightly holding the upper thread, press the “START/
STOP” button.
* Before stopping, the machine will automatically sew a rein-
forcement stitch after the bar tack is sewn.
* If the fabric does not feed (for example, because the fabric is
too thick), touch the “
” stitch length key to increase the
stitch length.
Thick fabrics
If the presser foot is not level, place a piece of cardboard or an-
other piece of fabric with the same thickness under the open side
of the presser foot.
