Note: Once the physical cables are connected, the master needs to be
configured according to EVOTOUCH Modbus Protocol. Please ask your
distributor if EVOTUCH Modbus Protocol is requested
5.2- Configuration
Connecting EVOTOUCH salt water chlorinator to a MODBUS environment, there
are two important parameters. Slave address (ID_SLAVE) and configure
communications.
These options are located in the Configuration Menu, click more to get access.
5.2.1- Configure communications
These options are located in the Configuration Menu, click more to get access.
This feature will define baud rate, word length, parity and stop bits.
For example the first option: 19200bps, 8bit word length, even parity and 1
stop bit.
5.2.1- Slave Address
This address will allow the master to communicate with the EVOTOUCH. By
defect, EVOTOUCH factory address is 010, but it can be changed in case there
is another device connected with the same address.
