Key lock
You can lock the keypad so that it cannot be used
accidentally while carrying the handset around.
To switch key lock on:
1. Press .
2. Press or until
HANDSET
is displayed.
3. Press to confirm.
4. Press or until
KEY LOCK?
is displayed then
press to confirm. The handset gives a confirmation
tone.
The icon is displayed on the idle screen while the
keypad is locked.
Quick key lock
1. Press and hold for 3 seconds.
To switch key lock off:
1. Press any key and the display shows
PRESS *
.
2. Press and the display returns to the idle screen.
Handset settings
The default setting is OFF.
WARNING
While key lock is switched on, it is
NOT possible to make calls,
including to emergency numbers
(999/112).
