6.3.2 Frequency of reference measurement
An additional External reference measurement is mandatory:
• after application change
• after lamp exchange and lamp failure
• after service (when top cover has been reinstalled and locked!)
• when changing the add-on or measurement setup
• at every system start / restart
6.4 Operator software – the user interface
Every NIRMaster comes installed with two different user interfaces of the Operator software.
Operator NIRMaster
Operator NIRMaster is optimized for touch-screen usability in production environment (large buttons,
extra large character height). Reduced to the basic functionality of retrieving a result in the least neces-
sary amount of steps the program is wizard guided. The displayed set of applications depends on the
user rights and can be configured to minimize the possibility of handling errors.
Operator
Operator (extended functionality, but without wizard) is optimized for mouse and keyboard use.
Offering mostly the same functionality as the NIRMaster Operator, the additional software buttons
(compared to the Operator NIRMaster view) listed below are accessible.
