Why is my Buderus RC20 DHW remaining cold?

  If the DHW remains cold, it might be due to several reasons. There could be a constant drawing of water or a system leak, in which case, fix the leak if necessary. The sensor might be incorrectly connected or mounted, the sensor cable could be broken or short-circuited, or the sensor itself might be faulty; check the sensor connection and cable, ensure the sensor is correctly mounted on the storage cylinder, and compare the resistance value with the sensor curve. Alternatively, the charge pump might be connected incorrectly or is faulty, so check the operation of the charge pump.

  If there is no communication with UBA 1/ UBA 3/MC10, the EMS bus system might be overloaded. Try resetting the system by switching the heating system off and then on again.

  If there is an address conflict, it could be because the RC20 is logged in the system as the sole programming unit (master) with RC30/RC35 also as master. To resolve this, change the address (parameter P1) in the RC20 or remove RC30/RC35 from the EMS.
