1.1.1 Functions
The primary functions of the Mini ES are as follows:
• Storing excess electricity generated by a Solar PV system. If the generation is lower than
the load on the property, power can be drawn out of the Mini ES to supplement the Solar
PV supply to the property.
• In the event of a loss of grid power to a property the Mini ES can provide up to 2kW
of power to an emergency load circuit connected to the Mini ES. This can be used to
power home appliances.
• A smart phone and/or desktop app can be used to monitor the systems performance
real time from anywhere in the world, subject to connectivity.

1.2 Foreseeable misuse
