2.1.2 Responsibilities
The operator must ensure that:
Any illegible warning and safety signs on the device should be replaced as soon as possible.

• The device must be placed on a platform that is strong enough to support it.
• Transportation, assembly, installation and commissioning of the device must be carried

• Only authorised and trained electricians can carry out the installation, commissioning
and change settings and connections of the device.
• The software, shell and components of the device can not be changed without t h e
approval of the manufacturer; otherwise the warranty will be invalid.
• If the seal is broken by unauthorised action, the warranty will be invalid.
• The installation and operation of the Mini ES must follow the steps outlined in the
installation manual. If these steps are not followed the warranty will be invalid.
The electrician must ensure that: before commissioning and connecting the breaker, the electrician
should understand all the basic information, especially the safety aspects of installing the unit:
• No changing of the size and the rating of the fuse.
• Before carrying out any electrical operations, the device must be effectively measured
• Before installation, read the operation manual and when using any further equipment,
make sure it conforms to the applicable UK standards.
• Don’t dismantle the device when it is operating.
2.2 Location
The desired location for the install needs to be decided before the storage system is
delivered. You must ensure that the installation location that you choose meets the
following conditions:
