7 – Auto Start (iDirect Only)
This feature is available with the iDirect service and will automatically start the satellite search
as soon as the communication between the modem and controller are established. The Auto
Start will not run if the platform is stowed (EL ST & EL DN Limits are ON and EL angle not
greater than 10 degrees). By default, this feature is disabled and is only available if modem is
configured for Dual Beam Search and the “Read Carrier From Modem” is enabled. This feature
can be used in situations where the system is setup at a remote site and power outages
regularly occur.

E&A&P
Will allow for Demo Testing on all axes (elevation, azimuth, and
polarization) for a user specified angle range.
DPLY
Deploys the antenna to a user specified azimuth, elevation, and
polarization position.
DPLY_C
Will read the compass heading at a user specified elevation, azimuth,
and polarization target point.
CP
Tests the compass’ heading and accuracy by rotating the antenna at
90° intervals and comparing the compass readings with the actual
antenna’s movement.
A_ACP
Performs an automatic ACP test for Hughes service.
M_ACP
Performs a manual ACP test for Hughes service.
S_ACP
This operation will stop the ACP test from continuing.
