The above cable should be used to connect between the Control Units and either the ships Alarm
Management System (AMS) or the Remote Display Unit.

Please Note: The Control Unit Modbus data cable should NOT be connected with the power
already applied to the unit.
With multiple Control Units connected to a Remote Display Unit the end of line jumpers indicated in
Figure 8 should be fitted only in the last Control Unit connected.
