Feed the cable into the Control Unit via a metal IP65 EMC gland supplied, ensuring that the metal
prongs make a good contact with the exposed cable screen as shown below.

Alternatively, both the earth and screen of the cable may be terminated in the screen terminal, SCN,
provided in the SUPPLY INPUT terminal block.
Both the earth and the screen of the cable should be connected to earth at the 24v DC power supply.
2.7.2 Relay Cables
The connection to the Slowdown/Shutdown relay, Pre-Alarm relay, Backup Alarm relay and Fault relay
at the Control Unit should be made using screened cable. For each of the relay connections strip the
cable to the required length to connect to the terminals in the Control Unit. Then remove approximately
1cm of the outer sheath to expose the cable screen as shown below.
Cables should be segregated from high voltage cables and follow good installation practice
