Usingtheanti-theftprotection
Theanti-theftprotectionhastobeactivatedwhenyouare
shuttingdowntheengine.Turntheignitionkeyfrom“On”
to“Off”forabout2secondsatatimeuntiltheaudible
alarmdevicesounds.Theiconoftheanti-theftprotection
isdisplayedonthescreen,theanti-theftprotectionisacti-
vated,nowtheaccesscodewillhavetobeenteredwhen
startingtheengine.
Youarenotobligedtoactivatetheanti-theftprotection.In
thatcaseallyouhavetodoistoturntheignitionkeyto
the“Off”positionwhenshuttingdowntheengine.Inthat
conguration,itwillnotbenecessarytoenterthecode
whenstartingtheengine.

Iftheanti-theftprotectionwasactivatedthelasttimethe
enginewasshutdown,itwillthenbenecessarytoenter
theaccesscodebeforebeingablestartitagain.

3.Enterthecodeinthesamemannerasduringregistra-
