Stoppingtheengine
1.Lowertheattachmentuntilitisrestingontheground.
2.Turntheenginethrottlebutton(1)tolowidleposition
andlettheenginerunfor5minutesorso.
NOTICE:Incoldweather,lettheenginerunforabout10
minutesatidlespeed.
NOTICE:Alwayslettheenginerunatidlebeforeswitch-
ingoffcompletely,exceptinemergencysituations.
3.Turntheignitionkey(2)tothe“Off”position.
NOTE:Toactivatetheanti-theftprotectionwhenstopping
theengine,(refertopage4-4).
NOTICE:Whentheengineistobeshutdownforacon-
siderablelengthoftime,(refertopage4-40).
Intheeventofanemergency

Intheeventofanemergencyorifitisnotpossibletostop
theengineusingtheignitionkey,presstheemergency
shut-downswitchontheleft-handcontrolarm.
ATTENTION:Thisswitchshouldonlybeusedincaseof
anemergency.Donotuseitonaday-to-daybasistostop
theengine.
